While much debate exists regarding the accuracy of poll results, especially at this early stage in the political game, it is still interesting to note recent findings. In a TIME Magazine/SRBI poll via telephone conducted between April 5-9, a few key trends were asserted:
*Obama tied with Giulani in a hypothetical race and surpassed McCain
*In the West, Clinton leads Obama by just 2%
*While 71% of Democrats are content with their presidential contenders, only 61% of Republicans feel the same way toward their own candidates
This early data may have implications for the general election – especially if Obama emerges as the Democratic presidential candidate. For a more concise view of the poll results please see, “Poll: A Weak Field Still Wide Open.”
Thanks for the info.
